
There are always two sides to the story. Or, in this case, two sides to the table tent. These helped continue the theme of 'Embrace your nature,' which is at the heart of everything Tangled Roots does.




Smokers & other tobacco users are accustomed to being villified & feeling left out. So, with the Verve nicotine discs freeing them from smoke & ash, we wanted them to feel empowered.





Females are woefully underrepresented in STEM fields. That's science, technology, engineering and math for those who don't speak acronym. Chicagoland's electric utility asked us to do something to change that. So, we took the existing fridge-recycling program & recruited teenage girls to transform old fridges into electric cars. Then they raced them. The campaign got tons of publicity, boosted ComEd's favorability scores & contributed to the discussion about females in male-dominated industries.
